Well here goes nothing! I’ve always loved the “coolness” of primes, but now I’m ready to put my money where my mouth is. In less than 2 hours we will be boarding a plane and heading to Egypt. I’m leaving behind ALL other gear except my Camera and 2 primes, 35mm & 135mm.

I’ve been told that I’m nuts… and that maybe I shouldn’t risk it. But it’s the risk that’s making me excited and giddy inside! This May I’ll be showing some of my Egypt work at Celebration In The Arts here in Austin (info coming soon)… so even if I crash and burn on this and my photos come out less than I had hoped, I’ll still have the story!

As an added bonus to SGR (Severe Gear Reduction) …my ENTIRE rig fits into one small lumbar pack (aka fanny-pack)!
