Why I Picked Up A Camera

It was three years ago… before I knew anything about f/stops & shutter-speeds… we we’re about 1-2 months away from having our first daughter. A hunger started to grow in my heart. Somewhere between birthing class and painting a nursery our little family was taking shape and I knew I had to pick up a camera. I had no formal training just a desire to capture moments. I thank God for blessing me with three jewels on earth and getting to take pictures of them is an honor I can’t put into words.

SEASIDE 2011

Our family trip to Seaside, FL is over but the memories will last much longer. In talks of making this little ‘seaside’ town a yearly pilgrimage for the Wade clan.

Who looks you in the eye & asks the tough questions?

Community is not something that comes easy. Tiffany and I have been blessed to have around us a group of people that care deeply about us. They want nothing more than for us to succeed. Again, it’s something that we have to fight for. It doesn’t come easy… but the pay-off is HUGE!

There are a handful of guys that I keep close, others come and go. Without these men in my life I would’ve probably folded long ago.

Last weekend I got to spend a lot of quality time with some of them while the girls were away. I’m posting these pictures to be a reminder of the conversations that were had. Some good… some hard… but above all they are rooted in love and respect for one another.
